Great Aging Adventure
In our PTA program we have been learning about the aging process in our gerontology class. As part of our learning, we had an 'Adventure' to fulfill to get a better picture of being 'old'! We put on these aging suits which cinch down so that you are stuck hunched over, with stiff joints, cataracts, poor hearing,difficulty picking up feet and overall slowness...then add in a walker and you get the picture. This was an experience that left me sore, and I definately have a lot more sympathy and empathy for my elders! Makes me grateful for my body & a desire to take better care of myself now in preparation for the future!

Okay so totally cheesy pictures I realize...Adrianne and I took her neices to get their pictures taken. We had so much fun getting them glamorous that we decided to be cheesy & put on our matching McCall,ID t-shirts and get our pictures taken too just for the heck of it!
